Magnets are easily removed so the flag can be washed (hand wash in cold water and air dry). All flags are 12x18 and made with premium triple ply polyester and are not see through at all. It's made with sublimation ink, meaning that the design is in the fibers of the flag. This will not peel like vinyl does. Strong but lightweight Neodymium earth magnets are on each side of the flag which allows it to hang from the magnetic stateroom door. While most cruise lines allow magnets on your doors be sure to check that your cruise line does. ALSO note due to the thickness of the veneer on the cruise ship door (varies on all cruise lines) it can cause the magnets not to be as strong.
